Job Title: Sales and Marketing Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at CM Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, predominantly in a B2C environment.
- Lead Sales Team: Create sales targets and KPIs, review and monitor the performance of the sales team, and liaise with the Head of Reservations.
- Manage External Partners: Manage and liaise with external marketing, PR, and design agencies to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of marketing objectives.
- Social Media and Advertising: Oversee social media advertising and ensure alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Account Management: Manage and review contracts with B2B travel partners to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
- Product Marketing: Work closely with the product team to develop and implement marketing strategies for new products.
- Marketing Budget: Create and implement a yearly budget plan for marketing and communications.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on marketing performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
- Industry Events: Attend travel trade shows and events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and network with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as Sales and Marketing Manager in the travel industry.
- Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Management Experience: Strong management experience and ability to lead a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Additional Information:
- Salary: £45-£55k per year.
- Location: Cambridge/hybrid role (3-4 days a week in Cambridge).
