About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and storage.
  • Pick and pack orders in accordance with the MRP schedule, ensuring high levels of accuracy and productivity.
  • Organize and retrieve stock, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Process goods receipt documentation, including scanning and resolving any booking in problems.
  • Ensure all stock is labelled and packed appropriately, with clear identification and minimal contamination or damage.
  • Perform general physical activities in the stores area, including loading, unloading, sorting, cleaning, and stock movements.
  • Follow manual handling guidelines for physical stock movements, using appropriate lifting equipment where necessary.
  • Support the processing of waste collection and respond to customer inquiries with the appropriate level of urgency.
  • Process online stores requisitions accurately and efficiently, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Maintain all stores-related equipment and vehicles, reporting any malfunctions to the Materials Supervisor.

  • Ability to use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems and other tools required to perform the role.
  • Act with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments.
  • Good time management skills to minimize wasted time and maximize productivity.
