About the Role

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Tertiary Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in Cranbrook, B.C. This permanent part-time (0.52 FTE) position offers a unique opportunity to work with complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric disorders, including co-occurring conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric disorders, including co-occurring conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based treatment across the continuum of services.
  • Develop and implement innovative mental health programming and development.
  • Teach and mentor health team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to relevant committees and maintain a holistic approach to patient care.

A suitable candidate for this role is a highly skilled and experienced professional with advanced expertise in assessing and treating complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric disorders, including co-occurring conditions.

The successful candidate should excel in collaborative care planning and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based treatment across the continuum of services.

This individual should be innovative, continuously seeking ways to enhance mental health programming and development, and be actively involved in teaching and mentoring health team members.
