Compliance and Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Counsel – Compliance to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Legal Department with administration of various legal compliance and regulatory matters throughout the business.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a regulated industry and contribute to ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
About the RoleThis Hybrid/Remote position involves assisting with coordination and administration of legal and regulatory compliance activities.
The successful candidate will analyze contractual agreements to identify reporting and notice requirements, as well as other compliance-related covenants.
- Assist with review of Fair Housing Act requests for accommodations/modifications
- Coordinate responses to field personnel
- Process resident informal and formal housing-related disputes and settlement communications
Juris Doctor (JD) Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in legal or compliance roles
Experience in a regulated industry preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret laws and regulations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
