Job Title: Mechanical Systems Specialist

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Overview

The Mechanical Systems Specialist is responsible for performing routine inspections and repairs of mechanical systems in a hotel environment. This includes identifying issues with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and taking corrective action to ensure safe and efficient operation.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, as well as knowledge of industry safety protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repairs:
    • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues.
    • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including fixing leaks and replacing faulty components.
    • Ensure all building systems are operational and comply with safety regulations.
  2. Emergency Response:
    • Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages and water leaks, and take appropriate actions to ensure guest and staff safety.
    • Collaborate with other departments and emergency services to address critical situations effectively.
  3. Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols, standards, and regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and safety guidelines.
