Job Title: Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker to join our team at Empower Family Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke outdoor education packages for children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver outdoor education packages that cater to the needs of children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Work closely with schools and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of outdoor education programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, local authorities, and other partners to promote outdoor education and support the needs of children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development of new outdoor education programs and initiatives that meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective delivery of outdoor education programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Driving license (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Experience or qualifications in outdoor education, youth work, or a related field (desirable)
  • First Aid qualification (desirable)
  • Safeguarding training (desirable)
  • Ability to commute to Taunton, TA2 8QN (required)
