We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Education Specialist to join our team at Empower Family Group. As an Outdoor Education Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke outdoor education packages for children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Our team at Quantock Outdoor Education is dedicated to providing high-quality learning and outdoor experiences that make the National Curriculum accessible to all. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can positively engage and motivate young people, irrespective of their level of needs.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people, delivering a range of outdoor education programmes. You will be responsible for leading in the planning and delivery of outdoor education packages, ensuring the provision of safe, healthy, and stimulating environments.

We offer a competitive salary of £21,600 - £23,760 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a company pension, Blue Light Card, Employee Counselling Service, and Development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Driving licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Applicants will preferably have experience or qualifications in Forest School, First Aid, Safeguarding, Orienteering qualification, Agricultural or equine qualification, Level 2 in Coaching Paddle sports Certificate with BCU 4-star Award, sea or inland, and Youth Work Qualification E.g. Level 3 in Youth Work
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Taunton, TA2 8QN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
