Empower Family Group - Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker to join our team at Empower Family Group. As a key member of our Quantock Outdoor Education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality outdoor education programs to children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver bespoke outdoor education packages for a range of age groups and needs
  • Ensure the provision of safe, healthy, and stimulating environments
  • Work closely with schools and other stakeholders to deliver an all-inclusive education provision
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Driving licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in an outdoor education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to positively engage and motivate young people, irrespective of their level of needs
