Empower Family Group - Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Outdoor Education Leader and Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke outdoor education packages for children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver outdoor education programmes for children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Work closely with schools and other stakeholders to develop and deliver bespoke learning programmes.
  • Ensure the provision of safe, healthy, and stimulating environments for children and young people.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new outdoor education initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of settings, including offices, classrooms, and outdoor environments.
