Job Description

We are seeking a Junior CFD Methodology Engineer (Powertrains) to join our highly skilled Red Bull Technology Group in supporting the development of our Powertrain.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to contribute to our CFD Tools and Methods Team, ensuring we have the best tools and processes to remain competitive in F1.

The work involves all aspects of our CFD process and workflow in support of Powertrain development, including software maintenance, workflow automation, and implementation of cutting-edge modelling techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Education to degree level within a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  2. Familiarity with fluid mechanics principles and their application in F1 Powertrain development.
  3. Experience with numerical modelling and performing CFD simulations.
  4. Strong technical ability and programming skills.
  5. Background in object-oriented scripting using Python and workflow automation.
  6. Detailed and methodical approach to solving complex problems.
