Red Bull Powertrains is a Formula One power unit manufacturing company based at the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. As a relatively new entity, formed in 2021, we are continuously expanding our team of experienced and talented engineers from diverse backgrounds, working together to develop a championship-winning Power Unit that complies with 2026 regulations.

We invite Controls Engineer Graduates to apply for our third-year intake for the Red Bull Engineering Academy. This graduate placement will run from autumn 2025 for two years, offering the opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in an open and dynamic environment.

As part of this programme, you will receive on-site training to ensure you are fully equipped with company practices, providing you with the best start to your career.

To be considered for this Graduate Controls Engineer role, you should:

  • Be currently studying a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) based degree, preferably focused on Controls Engineering
  • Have graduated by summer 2025, ready for a September 2025 start date
  • Have a solid understanding of related engineering disciplines
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in high-performance engineering projects
  • Possess hands-on/practical engineering experience, although not essential
  • Have experience writing and preparing technical reports and documentation
  • Be able to handle, process, and understand data from virtual or physical testing
