Autism Support Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Support Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing one-to-one support to learners with autism and other complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with learners who have autism and other special educational needs. They will be able to develop and implement tailored teaching strategies to meet the learner's SEMH and ASD needs, and build strong relationships with learners and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop tailored teaching strategies
- Encourage learners to stay focused on their academic goals
Requirements:
- Experience working with learners who have autism and other SEN needs
- Knowledge of the English, Maths, and/or Science curriculum from KS1-GCSE
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping students achieve their full potential
