Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual cycle of regular maintenance activities, coordinating between contractors and the internal operations team.
  • Monitor and instruct planned and reactive maintenance activities carried out by maintenance contractors.
  • Engage with the Estates Services team and customers as required to enable access and coordinate the planning and operations associated with maintenance.

This role requires an educated individual with experience in a management/supervisory role relating to estates engineering services operating across a significant estate. Proficient use of spreadsheets, property databases, and project/facilities management packages is essential, along with knowledge of CAD.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, with good negotiating and influencing skills. They will be able to engage in meaningful work that directly impacts the quality and functionality of university facilities.
