Head of Educational Institution

We are seeking an exceptional Head of School and Community to join our team at a new SEND school in Durham. As Head of School, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and student well-being.
The salary for this role is around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Required skills and qualifications for this role include:
- At least three years experience as a senior leader in either mainstream or special educational needs schools
- Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent
- Willingness to extend personal and professional development
- Ability to lead and provide a clear vision
- Appreciation and understanding that leadership and management of school encompasses processes contributing to pupil outcomes, staff motivation, keeping pupils safe, filling the school with pupils, managing costs, meeting regulatory requirements and applying growth plans as appropriate
