Support Worker for Young People

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Salary: £30,700- £32,600 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in allowance)
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Mentor to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting the education, independence, and well-being of young people aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to young people in a residential setting
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care and meal preparation
- Encouraging education and independence through participation in activities and outings
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for young people
Requirements:
- A minimum of L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People Family Practitioner / Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- A valid Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in supporting children, although a passion for working with children is essential
