We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Toro Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring optimal cost control and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting detailed cost analysis, including estimates, forecasts, and budgets for projects within the Utilities industry.
  2. Evaluating and negotiating contracts, change orders, and variations to minimize financial risks.
  3. Monitoring project expenditure and providing regular reports on cost performance.
  4. Collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  5. Conducting thorough cost audits and producing accurate financial reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Project value range between 100k to 20m.
  • Strong understanding of cost management principles, contract law, and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in cost estimating, financial analysis, and budget management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
