Are you a skilled asbestos surveyor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Asbestos Analyst to join our team at Opus People Solutions, working closely with North Northamptonshire Council.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance with North Northamptonshire Council procedures, maintaining effective work procedures and systems, and coordinating service area responsibilities. You will also provide professional advice and recommendations to enable the council to maintain compliance with relevant health and safety, building and environmental legislation.

In this role, you will undertake asbestos surveys, prepare reports, tender documentation, specifications, and technical information. You will also support the Team Leader in developing best value partnerships with contractors, attend site meetings, and liaise with contractor management and supervisory staff.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of asbestos surveying, and experience in providing professional advice and guidance. The ideal candidate will have a P402 Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos qualification or equivalent.

This is a temporary role, working 37 hours per week for 6 months, with occasional office presence required. The salary for this position is £30 per hour (umbrella) or £23.08 per hour (PAYE), based on the location in Corby/Kettering area.
