About the Role:
Spinwell is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join their team in Corby office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the public sector, overseeing the inspection and repair of Council-owned commercial properties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and supervising the maintenance and repair of commercial properties
- Determining priorities, programming work, and monitoring contracts
- Specifying work, supervising contracts, and administering payments
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Construction or Surveying
- Experience within the FM/construction industry
- Knowledge of up-to-date facility management techniques and methods
- Able to conduct stock condition surveys of commercial property
- Familiar with contractual procedures and standard forms of contracts
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and building regulations
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Salary:
The salary for this role is £35 per hour.
