About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at HMP Peterborough, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to both men and women. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique dual-role capacity, combining your nursing expertise with social work skills to deliver holistic care.

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for undertaking mental health assessments, risk assessments, and care planning, implementation, and review of services to individuals referred to the team. You will also care coordinate those on the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure a quality service is provided within the locality.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working in a warm and friendly team that prides itself on delivering high standards of care.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £38,674 - £46,276 per annum, pro rata, plus a Recruitment and Retention incentive of £5,000 paid over the first 18 months of employment.
