We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Liaison Nurse to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. About the Role

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of service users, including risk assessments and identification of mental health vulnerabilities
* Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the service user, family members, and other healthcare professionals
* Provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff members and support their professional development
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including police, court, and probation staff, to ensure effective service delivery and coordination
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health assessment and intervention

Requirements

* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) diploma or degree qualification
* Current NMC registration
* Post-registration training relevant to the service area
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £39,027 - £49,569 per annum, depending on experience.
