Location: Nottingham Office
About the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled Foodservice Account Executive to join our team in Nottingham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with mainstream foodservice accounts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading oriental food importer and distribution specialist. You will report directly to the Sales Director and work closely with the wider sales team to achieve business success.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with mainstream foodservice accounts
- Develop sales opportunities with existing accounts
- Direct sales forecast activities and set performance goals accordingly
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs
- Represent the company at trade association meetings, food shows, tradeshows, etc. to promote products
- Deliver sales presentations to key accounts to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals
- Evaluate new market segments to develop sales strategies and market plans
- Responsible for product and service development to meet market needs
- Monitor accounts receivable and sales transactions
- Prepare reports, presentations, and budgets to top management
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and products
- Experience in calling on chain accounts and mainstream foodservice accounts is essential
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams to meet set goals
- Valid driver's license required
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market data and develop actionable insights
