Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Development Manager to join our team in the foodservice industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a business plan that aligns with our corporate goals and drives growth in the identified markets and customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business plan that aligns with corporate goals
  • Communicate regularly with the Head of Sales on customer, competitor, and market activity
  • Set action plans for customer visits and meetings
  • Work closely with the internal Sales Executive managing National Accounts
  • Liaise with the Head of Sales to inform him of market developments and opportunities for product development
  • Support customers as appropriate, attending trade fairs, organizing showroom displays, and conducting training, marketing, and advertising
  • Achieve agreed commercial targets and standard gross profit margins
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a track record in account management and business development in the packaging and/or foodservice arena, having previously or currently managed clients like Brakes, Bidfood, Elior, etc.

You should also have a successful track record of hitting key commercial KPIs and objectives with an existing customer base, driving and developing new customers, and increasing distribution.
