Job Title: Neuro Rehabilitation Therapist

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum

Job Description:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering rehabilitation programmes tailored to meet the varied needs of individuals with neurological conditions. You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support residents and families with goal setting and discharge planning.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Effectively managing a caseload of complex rehabilitation residents
  • Delivering high-quality person-centred dynamic rehabilitation sessions
  • Utilizing outcome measures to monitor the effectiveness of therapy interventions
  • Participating in regular clinics with Consultant in Rehabilitation medicine
  • Providing clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants
  • Contributing to service development projects and taking a leading role in their creation and delivery


Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy, be registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC), and have evidence of Neuro-specific Continuing Professional Development (CPD). A minimum of one year post-qualification experience working in neurological rehabilitation is required, along with a keen interest in caring for individuals with neurological conditions.
