Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Therapist for Children and Adolescents

This exciting opportunity is available to work as a highly specialist therapist in a pioneering service offering holistic neurorehabilitation to children and adolescents with acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities- To lead the development of high-quality speech and language therapy provision within the Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust and across the wider region.
- To assess and manage children and young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), providing specialist skills in an area where there is limited evidence base for speech and language therapy practice.
- To work as an interdisciplinary team member, taking on a co-ordinating role with clients as required.
The service is based at Brookside, Trumpington Road, Cambridge, and shares close links with the Department of Psychological Medicine for Children Young People and Families at Cambridge University Hospital. It provides highly specialist assessments and interventions for the individual cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs of children and young people with non-progressive brain injury.

About the SalaryThe salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. This reflects the level of expertise required for this highly specialist role and the competitive market rate for similar positions in the region.
