Global Sanctions Risk Expert

Citigroup Global Markets Limited seeks an experienced Global Sanctions Risk Expert to support its Treasury and Trade Solutions business in managing and mitigating sanctions risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sanctions laws, regulations, and risk management frameworks.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing sanctions subject matter expertise to the TTS business, assessing complex sanctions risk issues, and driving effective resolution with senior stakeholders. You will also ensure adherence to policy at all times, identify potential gaps, and create and maintain a robust partnership with the second line of defense.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in sanctions risks frameworks, including trade sanctions and export controls, and possess a deep understanding of Payments, Correspondent Banking, Trade Finance, Working Capital, and Liquidity Management products. A Bachelor's/University degree is required, with a Master's degree desirable.
