Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to hold DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance.
You'll be joining a specialist security team that is a trusted partner to governments worldwide, protecting critical national infrastructure and committed to the safety and security of our nation and global communities. We use DevOps methodologies to deliver world-class secure platforms that make a real difference to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of world-class secure platforms.
- Be hands-on in all aspects of the design, build, deployment, and support of customer-facing systems.
- Work within existing monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to achieve our customer's requirements.
- RHEL expertise
- Shell scripting experience
- Monitoring tools integration, including SNMP MiB gathering/custom polling, syslog
- North Bound Interface (NBI) with ability to manipulate data in and out of the application
- Data collection and filtering (e.g. awk, grep), along with PowerShell as required for scripting
- Experience of installation and integration of large-scale Network Management applications installed upon RHEL
- Knowledge of containerisation/VM and some view of Kubernetes etc.
- Windows Application Integration
- Infrastructure skills (build, power, patching etc)
- SQL, Oracle database skills
