Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Wholesale Foodservice to lead the B2B side of our business and drive sales within the wholesale and foodservice channels.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to drive wholesale revenue and market growth. This includes identifying and targeting potential wholesale clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, collaborating with the marketing team, analysing market trends, managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals, negotiating contracts, and monitoring sales performance metrics.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging sales materials and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and optimise results.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance and support.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record in FMCG sales, with experience influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels. You should be a driven sales professional with a structured approach to hitting targets, comfortable working in start-up environments without initial extra resource. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to deliver multi-million-pound results are essential.
