Ecologist Opportunity at Carrington West

Carrington West is seeking a talented Ecologist to join their multidisciplinary team based in Liverpool. This role presents a real opportunity for career advancement within a collaborative and friendly practice offering a wide range of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications, and draft and agree Biodiversity Gain Plans.
  2. Purchase biodiversity units and credits as part of an offsetting scheme.
  3. Lead ecological surveys, including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans, Natural England license applications, and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  4. Coordinate specialist ecological surveyors nationwide for development sites.
  5. Provide reports for planning submissions and discharge conditions attached to planning permissions.
