Senior Pensions Administrator

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join a reputable business in York with genuine career progression, competitive basic salary and market leading benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SSAS pension schemes, serving as the main point of contact for clients/intermediaries. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheme establishment/takeover
- Preparing Accounts, Valuations and fund splits
- Opening scheme bank accounts
- Transfers
- Contributions
- Tax reclaims & Relief at Source, Invoices
- HMRC reporting
- Dealing with bank borrowing
- General Scheme Investments
- VAT Registration, Returns and De Registration
- Benefit Calculations
- Property Purchase/Sale/Lease
- Rent invoicing and monitoring
- Dealing with The Pensions Regulator and Information Commissioner Registration and Returns
- Background research on scheme issues
- Spotting potential issues e.g. lack of cash for pensions
Requirements
- Previous SSAS or SIPP pensions experience is essential
- Essential that candidate is computer literate and has familiarity with Word, Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well on own initiative as well as part of a team
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
