The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust invites applications from skilled and motivated Occupational Therapists to fill a part-time position within the Community Assessment Beds (CAB) team. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care to patients in community settings.

Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing and managing complex clinical cases, working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. A full, current driving license and access to personal transport or alternative suitable means are essential.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assessment, intervention, and management services to patients, using evidence-based practices.
  • Manage a complex caseload at Hazell Court, ensuring timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support the team lead in delivering the CAB service across multiple sites, focusing on service development and strategy.
  • Contribute to audits, research, and best practice initiatives, working under the guidance of the team lead.

You will foster a positive team culture, promoting staff development, well-being, and regular supervision and appraisals.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Substantial experience as a qualified therapist in various settings.
  • Documented CPD, demonstrating transferable skills.
