Therapy Team Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to lead our Community Assessment Beds team at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the development of our occupational therapy service. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc/MSc), HCPC registration, and significant experience in occupational therapy settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex caseload of patients requiring occupational therapy services
- Supervise junior staff and provide guidance and support
- Contribute to the development of our occupational therapy service through audits, service developments, and research
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc/MSc)
- HCPC registration
- Significant experience in occupational therapy settings
- Excellent leadership and management skills
