CAMHS Liaison Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Liaison Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Early Help Pathway, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to provide consultation, assessments, and targeted interventions.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people who have experienced mental health difficulties. You will be able to work effectively in a multi-agency setting, building strong relationships with other professionals and services.

Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation, assessments, and targeted interventions to children, young people, and families.
- Work closely with other professionals and services to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and families to promote their mental health and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development of our Early Help Pathway, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings and working groups to promote the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Core qualification in mental health, such as nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
- Postgraduate training qualification in methods of working with children with mental health problems.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have experienced mental health difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency setting.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children, young people, and families.
