The Role

We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Inquiry Officer to join our team. As a safeguarding professional, you will be responsible for progressing safeguarding enquiries and action plans in accordance with Kent & Medway policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct holistic investigations and assessments, working closely with adults at risk and engaging specialist professionals as necessary.
  2. Apply relevant legislation and policy when undertaking safeguarding enquiries and person-centred assessments.
  3. Identify and process safeguarding issues, collaborating with the Quality Improvement team to protect and promote welfare.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of adult safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
