Job Description

We are recruiting a skilled Social Worker to join Connect2Kent's Safeguarding teams. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an Inquiry Officer and knowledge of S42 investigations.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out proportionate and holistic investigations and assessments, identifying needs and actions/outcomes to help individuals be safeguarded.
  • Understanding and applying relevant legislation and policy when undertaking safeguarding enquiries and assessments.
  • Working towards the timely resolution and closure of safeguarding enquiries, identifying and processing safeguarding and quality of care issues.

This role involves being individually accountable as an Inquiry Officer, progressing Safeguarding enquiries and action plans, and carrying out enquiries under close supervision.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
