Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd. in the South East region. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction cycle of our development in Swanley, Kent.
Using specified drawings and instructions, you will support the Site Manager in ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards. Your duties will include managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued success of our desirable developments. Hours of work are between 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The Assistant Site Manager is subject to call-out in the absence of the Site Manager, however this is infrequent. Once the development is completed, you will be moved to another site within the region.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified and experienced individual with relevant site experience gained building Residential Apartments and New Homes. You will hold a CSCS Card and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme. You will also be a qualified First Aider at Work and may have progressed from a trade background.
You will be assertive and calm under pressure to meet numerous construction deadlines, while liaising with a wide range of external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives without compromising quality standards. To achieve maximum cooperation, the ability to influence is key.
