Role Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager for our South East region to support the oversight of our development in Swanley, Kent.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Site Manager throughout the construction process, ensuring that all timelines are adhered to and that the project meets both company and NHBC standards.

Located on-site and reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing various aspects of the construction site, including:

  • Health and safety compliance
  • Coordination of trades and materials
  • Site presentation
  • Cost management

Your contributions will be vital to the ongoing success of Churchill Retirement Living's esteemed developments.

Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Assistant Site Manager may be required to be on call in the absence of the Site Manager, though this is infrequent. Once a development is completed, you will transition to another site within the region.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess relevant site experience in constructing residential apartments and new homes. A qualified First Aider at Work, you may have a background in a trade.

You should hold a CSCS Card and have qualifications at NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably through the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation program.

We are looking for someone who is assertive and remains composed under pressure, capable of meeting multiple construction deadlines while collaborating with a diverse range of external suppliers, specialists, and internal teams to achieve essential objectives without compromising quality.

A valid UK driver's license is required for potential site assistance.
