Marine Consultant

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Principal Marine Consultant to join our team of experts in marine development projects. As a key member of our Environmental Impact (EIA) team, you will play a critical role in shaping the environmental performance of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality management procedures.
- Prepare EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments, and supporting documents, including technical reviews of specialist chapters.
- Collaborate with technical experts, including our in-house marine ecology team, to identify environmental constraints and develop impact avoidance and mitigation solutions.
- Manage client relationships, internal teams, and subcontractors, promoting AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences.
- Identify and lead business development opportunities, developing skills in leading business development and associated fee and technical proposal development.
- Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, with proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports and technical reviews.
- Detailed understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK and Ireland.
- Ability to support collaborative teams, coordinating inputs from technical specialists.
- Project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management.
- Commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
