Academic Behavioural Specialist

We are looking for an Academic Behavioural Specialist to work in partnership with local schools in the Borough of Redbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils with ASD, Moderate Learning Difficulties or Challenging Behaviour.
Main Responsibilities:- DELIVERING BEHAVIOURAL SUPPORT: Provide targeted support to pupils with challenging behaviour.
- IMPLEMENTING LEARNING STRATEGIES: Collaborate with teaching staff to develop tailored learning strategies for pupils.
- MENTORING TEACHING ASSISTANTS: Offer guidance and support to new teaching assistants.
Requirements:
- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: A strong educational background with experience working in a UK Primary/Secondary School.
- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant and current DBS registration on the Update Service.
