Behaviour Support Specialist

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our team in a specialist SEMH School based in Newham. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people with additional needs and displaying challenging behaviour.
">">- This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
We are looking for someone who can lead learning with groups of pupils using effective strategies to enable them to settle and learn.
">This role starts as soon as possible and continues for the academic year.Key requirements include relevant experience in a school setting, effectively managing classes, and leading learning with groups of pupils.
">A GCSE English/Maths grade A-C or equivalent is also required, along with specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH.">Team Teach training would be beneficial, but not essential.">To be eligible for this role through Remedy Education, candidates must hold a Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will have access to accredited training courses for teachers and support staff, ensuring you continue your professional development.
">Support with interview preparations and lesson planning is also provided.">The minimum rate of pay for this role is £105 per day, working 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.-
