About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health/Behaviour Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd, a leading specialist provision located just outside of Reading. As a Mental Health/Behaviour Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting students aged 11 to 18 with mental health needs and behaviour changes throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills
  • Provide 1:1 and group support in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Help manage student behaviour and foster a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Possesses relevant qualifications in Psychology & Criminology or related field
  • Has a strong background in supporting students with mental health needs and behaviour changes

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive daily rate of £89 per day, Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30. In addition to a comprehensive salary package, Academics Ltd offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
