Job Title: Emotional Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate Emotional Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional care to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in our 4-bed home.

Your primary focus will be on creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes stability, confidence, and brighter futures for our young people.

About the Role:

As the Registered Home Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and manage daily operations. Your key focus areas will include compliance, staffing, and care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised care plans that support the emotional, social, and educational development of young people.
  • Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure holistic care for each young person.
  • Manage daily operations, including compliance, staffing, and care planning.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management (or actively working towards completion).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an EBD or similar children's residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and foster a positive culture.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
