  4. Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
  5. Provide practical and emotional support to families, offering advocacy and guiding them to specialist and universal services as needed.

Experience of working independently is essential, as is a recognised qualification in childcare, social work, social care, counselling, youth work or education. Additionally, experience of safeguarding and the escalation processes is highly desirable.
