At GSL Education, we are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local mainstream primary school in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with challenging and complex needs on a 1:1 basis.

The role involves implementing personalized care and education plans, following EHCPs effectively, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.

A key aspect of this position is utilizing effective communication strategies to build rapport and trust with the student, who is predominantly non-verbal. The ideal candidate will be confident, resilient, and proactive in adapting to the dynamic needs of students.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience as a SEN TA in a school or similar setting
