Senior Academic Manager for SEMH Schools

We are seeking an experienced Senior Academic Manager to lead our team as Senior Academic Manager for SEMH schools.

About the School:

This specialist school provides a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 11-19 with SEMH needs and ASC. Our dedicated team works together to empower students to achieve their full potential.

  • Develop and implement a person-centred approach to support staff and pupils.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Ofsted requirements to support the school's improvement journey.
  • Create innovative strategies for delivering the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH and ASC.
  • Ensure the school's compliance with the latest Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and Independent School Standards.
  • Promote a safe and nurturing environment that supports pupils with trauma, attachment issues, and associated challenging behaviours.
  • Skilled at motivating, driving, and supporting both staff and pupils.
  • Knowledgeable about the unique challenges of working with young people with SEMH, ASC, and additional needs.
  • Experienced in leading a school through Ofsted inspections, with a solid understanding of the Independent School Standards.
  • A visionary and committed professional with the ability to inspire and foster a positive school culture.

Salary Range: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
