About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Midwife to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Midwife, you will be responsible for providing safe, clinically effective, and individualized care to women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care.
- Organize and provide midwifery care for assigned patients.
- Utilize the full skills of a midwife practitioner to a named caseload of women.
- Discuss development and changes with the Ward Manager/Team Leader.
- Provide care to bereaved patients and their relatives.
- Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary professionals and agencies.
- Take appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
- Report accidents/incidents to the Ward Manager/Senior Midwife/Head of Midwifery.
Requirements
- Current/pending UK NMC registration.
- Ability to travel.
- Flexible approach to working.
- Awareness of self-presentation to patients and relatives.
- Understanding of the organization's values.
