Overview

Menzies Aviation is a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 250 locations in 58 countries.

As an Airport Operations Specialist, you will be trained to specialise in Deicing duties and aircraft turnaround processes, including baggage handling, loading and offloading, aircraft pushback and towing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aircraft de-icing duties
  • Load and off-load baggage & goods manually or mechanically
  • Undertake all relevant baggage sorting duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out area hazard checks & aircraft inspections
  • Carry out towing, pushback & head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck
  • Any other duties relating to aircraft turnaround according to business needs

You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and of others whilst at work.
