Aircraft Fueler

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Fueler to join our team at Menzies Aviation. As a key member of our fuel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient refueling of aircraft.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and fueling operations
• Conduct fueling in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company and airline procedures
• Accurately account for fuel transactions and maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel, and defuel aircraft as directed
• Operate fuel trucks and hydrant carts, and lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment
• Calculate fuel distributions for a variety of aircraft and drive light and heavy-duty vehicles
• Adhere to company and airline procedures and policies, and attend mandatory training sessions as required
• Meet station attendance records and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Class G driver's license in good standing and other airport required identification/security passes or authorizations
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment
• Work primarily outdoors, comfortable in all weather conditions
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada
• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively
