The Tomatin to Moy project is a major construction contract that Transport Scotland has tendered in the NEC4 contract form. The project involves the design and build of new lay-bys, bus turning facilities, and enhanced footpaths and cycleways.
About the RoleAs a Highway Supervisor and Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for supervising contractors' activities, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities- Supervise contractors' activities and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Monitor contractors' performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Specification for Highways Works
- Relevant experience as a highways or structures inspector in a similar role on major transport infrastructure schemes
- Extensive experience in supervising contractors' activities and monitoring contractors' compliance with the scope of the contract
- Knowledge of NEC contract forms and Specification for Highways Works
