About the Job

SSE Transmission is seeking a talented Agile Delivery Program Director to lead the delivery of multiple High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects throughout Scotland. As part of our Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework for 2030, you will play a key role in facilitating Scotland's ambitions to meet Net-Zero.

With a strong track record of safely delivering complex and high-value packages of work or projects to cost, schedule, and quality in the Transmission, Construction, Energy, Civil industry, you will be accountable for the safety, health, and wellbeing of all personnel, and for environmental aspects of those Transmission project activities being managed.

You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects or packages in line with Project Execution Plans to ensure they are executed to cost, schedule, and quality. This includes commercial responsibilities, such as contract negotiation, contract awards, and NEC contract management, ensuring that any disputes are escalated as appropriate for resolution.

We offer an excellent package with £58,000 - £82,000 per annum, plus car/car allowance, performance-related bonus, and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family. You will have opportunities for career progression within the business for candidates.
