Job Details

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring relocation to the North of Scotland. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing contract negotiations, ensuring compliance, and minimizing risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Management: Manage contracts from award to completion, including day-to-day team management and motivation.
  2. Compliance and Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  3. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Contract Performance Monitoring: Track contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
  5. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Possession of strong commercial awareness, including understanding contractual arrangements within large construction projects.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple sites.
